What makes us different

Free pickup and drop-off

We come to your school on a schedule that works for you, weekly or monthly. Rather drop off at our Fishers store or ship? That works too.

A portal for every repair

Send in a whole batch at once, see each device's status and what's waiting on you, and pay invoices online.

How it works

1

Submit online

List every device in one form through our customer portal.

2

Get devices to us

Drop off at our Fishers store, have us pick them up, or ship them to us.

3

We repair

Covered repairs start right away. Anything else is quoted for your approval first.

4

Back in class

We let you know when repairs are done, device by device.

What we repair

  • Virtually every Apple device your school owns, from MacBook Neo and iPad to iMac.
  • Devices covered by AppleCare+ or Apple's limited warranty.
  • Out-of-warranty devices, quoted before we start. If your school has device insurance, we'll work with your provider.

Why schools work with us

  • Trusted by central Indiana for 25 years.
  • Apple-trained technicians and genuine Apple parts, with every repair backed by Apple.
  • New to prepping devices for repair? We'll walk your IT team through it.

Your school's customer portal

Once your account is set up, your IT team can send in repairs with one form or a spreadsheet, check the status of every repair, see which ones are waiting on you, look up devices by serial number, pay invoices online, and give other staff their own access.

Staff sign in with a link we email them, so there's no password to manage.

Before devices leave your building

  • Turn off Find My on every Mac and iPad. On iPadOS or macOS 27 and later, you can turn on Ready for Repair in Find My instead.
  • Unassign each device from its device management service in Apple School Manager. It stays in your organization, and you can reassign it after the repair.
  • Remove firmware passwords from Intel-based Macs.
  • Back up anything you need to keep. A repair can erase data.
  • Label each device with its asset tag.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with AppleCare+ for Education?

Yes. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider we handle AppleCare+ and Apple limited warranty repairs, using genuine Apple parts. Covered repairs start as soon as we've diagnosed the device.

Does this cost our school anything extra?

No. Pickup, drop-off and the customer portal are free. Covered repairs cost what they would anywhere else, and Apple's AppleCare+ service fees still apply where Apple charges them. Out-of-warranty repairs are quoted before we start.

What about devices that aren't covered?

We repair those too. We'll send a quote first and only start once it's approved. If your school has a third-party insurance plan, we'll work with your provider.

Do you offer pickup?

Yes, and it's free. We'll set a schedule that works for your school, weekly or monthly. You can also drop devices off at our Fishers store or ship them to us.

Why do devices need to be unassigned in Apple School Manager?

Apple won't let us open a repair on a device that's still assigned to a device management service. Unassigning it doesn't remove it from your organization, and you can reassign it once it's back. We're happy to walk your IT team through it.

How do we get started?

Reach out and we'll set up your school's portal account, agree on pickup and drop-off, and send your IT team a step-by-step guide. Email Sean Farris at seanfarris@macexperience.com or book a time to talk.
