We are locally owned and operated and have been serving Indiana since 2001. Joel Read and his core team started the company inside a little retail space in Roberts Camera in downtown Indianapolis. 

Our mission is to serve our community and businesses in Indiana by keeping their devices and networks running and solving their tech needs so they can keep connected and keep moving forward.

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer experienced in full-stack development to join our Weevio software team. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Weevio software solutions. The Weevio product team develops two main products: Weevio Cloud and mPIMS – our web-based point-of-sale software. We currently have about 5,000 active monthly end-users and are continuing to grow! The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing modern, scalable software solutions. 

Responsibilities 

-       Collaborate with the development team to come up with creative software solutions. 
-       Design and develop client-side and server-side architecture. 
-       Develop easy-to-use front-end UI/UX. 
-       Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications. 
-       Write effective APIs. 
-       Write effective automated tests. 
-       Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software. 
-       Write code with data security in mind. 
-       Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design. 
-       Write technical documentation. 
-       Manage cloud infrastructure, i.e. AWS and Google Cloud. 

Minimum qualifications: 

-       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
-       3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Programming, Database, API Design, and Server Infrastructure. 
-       Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum) 
-       Experience with databases, database querying, and data modeling. 
-       Proficiency with Git/GitHub. 
-       Appreciation for clean and well-documented code. 

Preferred qualifications: 

-       Experience with full-stack software engineering as well as backend experience. 
-       Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems. 
-       Experience with the following: JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, React.js, automated testing, AWS, and Google Cloud. 
-       Great project management skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders to provide technical solutions to business challenges.
