Brief History

MacExperience has been locally owned and operated since 2001. With our first store located in Robert's Camera downtown, we have grown into two retail locations regionally, in Indianapolis and Bloomington, in addition to our professional services division. 

Our Goals

We are creative and passionate about technology. Our main objective at MacExperience is to make IT invisible, freeing our customers to create, connect, build, and produce.

What We Do

MacExperience is a multifaceted organization, comprised of several distinct parts: Retail Sales, Retail Service, and Professional Services. Our retail locations sell and service Macs, iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Our Professional Services division is composed of several separate, yet interconnected departments.

Graphics and Marketing

+ Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirments, habits, and trends
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach target audience through appropriate channels (social media, email, etc.)

Retail Service

+ Mac Technician

  • Serve and support our customers and the technology they are bringing in for diagnosis and repair, as well as to be able to provide creative solutions for purchasing new technology when needed.

Professional Sales

+ Account Manager

  • Responsible for management of sales relationships of existing business accounts
  • Create long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients
  • Serve as liaison between customer and systems engineers

+ IT/Development Sales

  • Responsible for managing sales relationships of new business customers
  • Handling front-end of sales cycle: identifying, connecting with, and qualifying leads
  • Work with marking department to fuel inbound lead generation

Development

+Full-Stack Developer

  • Build reuseable code and libraries for future use
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and promote best practices
  • Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability
